Aston Martin V12 Vantage Returning in 2022

The V12 Legend Returns

Aston Martin recently announced that the V12 Vantage will be returning for a final edition in 2022 with a short teaser clip that showcases its incredible exhaust note from its powerful V12 engine. The Aston Martin V12 Vantage has a long history, starting in the late 1990s with the beautiful Aston Martin DB7 V12 Vantage, which was the first modern Aston Martin sports car to feature a V12 engine. The engine in the DB7 V12 Vantage was built by Formula One legend Cosworth, and produced an impressive amount of power for its time.

Eventually, over 4,000 Aston Martin DB7 Vantage Coupe and Volante models were built, which was a new record for Aston Martin. To follow up the success of the DB7 V12 Vantage, Aston Martin introduced an all-new V12 Vantage in late 2007. This new model was based on the recently introduced V8 Vantage, and earned high praise from the automotive press around the world. This new V12 Vantage was designed for those who wanted the ultimate performance vehicle and featured race-developed materials, including carbon fiber.

In 2013, the V12 Vantage was replaced by the V12 Vantage S, which offered even greater performance and refinement than the outgoing model. With the exception of the limited edition One-77 hypercar, the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S was the fastest road-going Aston Martin vehicle ever produced. It featured a new, more powerful AM28 6.0-liter V12 engine with the latest generation of Bosch engine management, and could reach speeds of up to 205 mph.

Now Aston Martin is bringing back the V12 Vantage for one final edition, to celebrate the V12 engine and its incredible power, smoothness and sound. More information about the new V12 Vantage will be announced at a later date, but Aston Martin fans should expect it to be the most impressive V12 Vantage ever, with a new V12 engine and timeless Aston Martin styling.
